Ok everyone.. My fiancee and I are starting to "throw ideas" into the mix for our wedding.. She wants me to start looking at halls for the reception, etc etc, but I have no idea where to start.. Are there any websites that can help with this, or can anyone out there offer suggestions on where to look?? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Just tell her what I told mine: You take care of it all, honey. Just tell me where to be and when! Worked perfectly.

If your families, particularly hers, insist on a big wedding do not read this post. Otherwise, here's a piece of advise that many an old married couple will tell you: Skip the big, expensive wedding and use that money on a downpayment on a house. You're still every bit as married as those who dropped tens of thousands of dollars on a big wedding, except they're still in a little apartment while your investment is still with you.

Start practicing phrases like 'sure', 'sounds great', 'wish I had thought of that' and 'money isn't a problem' and never forget that no cares what you want !

This is not the place where I would ask for advice about a wedding!

I would look at local newspapers, or just sit down and think of nice places that can accomodate a group of people: the botanical gardens are popular here, as are country clubs, etc etc...just look around and call around.
have fun!
