Many people told me that I should drink a wheat beer with a little bit banana syrup, today I bought a bottle banana syrup and five minutes ago I mixed it with ice cold wheat beer. The taste is fantastic, I am not a friend of beer mix drinks but this one is very refreshing during the hot temperatures we have at the moment. Seems that it will become the trend drink of the summer here in Germany, many bars and restaurants are offering the mix also.
What is the "summer drink" at the place where you live?

.. and here it is!
Personally, I'm not really into mixing drinks myself, as I always get the wrong levels (90% vodka, 10% sprite ). So I usually stick to either a cold Tuborg beer or Smirnoff Ice or one of the countless spin-offs.

Dug's Sludgedriver
3 parts Frozen orangejuice concentrate
1 part Orange sherbet (you can do without this)
2-3 parts vodka (cheap stuff works, but if your roomate's been pissing you off, steal his absolut mandrin)
mix WELL. thats the most important bit. use a blender if possible. if you let it sit awhile, give it a stir.
came up with it when I was too drunk to mix the OJ with water for scrwedrivers, and DAMN it was good.

A Bailey' on ice always does the trick for me, any time of year. Otherwise a cold pint of whatever works as well.
