PARIS (Reuters) - A big explosion, pobably due to gaz, happened Wednesday in the middle of the day in a 19th century building, 8 rue d'Uzes, resulting in a dozen of wounded people, one of those heavily wounded, declared the firemen

The police said the explosion was probably due to the gaz. "This is not a terrorist attack, we are not investigating that way" they said.

The explosion happened at 11h52 on the 4th and 5th floor of the building.

140 men have been sent to take care of it, with an enhanced medical center

It seems to me that France would be most unlikely place for a terrorist attack to occur.

I'm not France-bashing, I'm just stating my opinion.

Didn't you hear about the hijacked Air France plane that some hijackers wanted to crash into the eiffel tower? Or the UTA DC-10 bombed out of the sky in Africa? France has been a target of terrorism many times ! Nobody is safe from terrorism, they've even happened in Switzerland.
