Hey guys. How is everyone? Hope you are all o.k.
I just wanted to share that this past weekend I went out and purchased all the equipment for my own Spanish Rock Band. I gathered up all the musicians and had been planning this for about two months now. I spent close to $15,000.00
I bought the best of the best. We will start rehearsing this upcoming weekend. I have written about 5 songs so far. We will be doing some Lenny Kravitz covers and some Stone Temple Pilots. We are going to rock. All the musicians have over 20 years of experience behind them. This is so cool. A long time dream come true for me.

interesting, I didn't really think people listened to 98.9 north of the border !!
yup, I agree, "Seria Feliz" is a nice single, has a nice sound to it !! seems that she dumped her accordion though, I think it's for the best
She did a concert here a few weeks ago, but it was kinda pricey, I'm a cheap charlie so 15$ is too much for me , (I rather spend it on some hasegawa plastic and some decals) what ever happened to cheapo concerts? like the cardigans... last time they were in San Diego at the Soma, it was about 5 bucks, too bad I found out too late !!

98.9 actually has a very strong signal in SD proper...I listen to it when I am tired of the crap that the english stations play. It really sucks though when I hear a song I like and can't understand the DJ if they say the name of the song afterwards. After I finish French in HS I am taking some classes in Spanish.
