I like the way Fox News refers to these clowns as "homicide" bombers.

Just a question for everyone here. Now why don't we as in rest of the people through out the world especially here in the USA don't blow ourselves up? Even people who suffer from severe depression. Why?
This question is not asked as a joking matter, seriously WHY???? Why do people ONLY in that part of the world like in the Middle East do it?
Once again, seriously speaking. I dont seem to understand myself.

But think about it guys- it's the perfect strategy for taking lives- there's almost no way to prevent it- we don't even know until it's too late. Terrible, twisted, wrong, yes- but reality.

As to why opnly those in the Middle East do it - it is because of a fanatical belief that they are doing the right thing for their cause. It is like the Japanese Kamikaze pilots of WWII. It is absolute commitment and devotion to their cause.

First of all...there's really nothing funny....
but the subject is too horrifying to allow that kind of joke, that's all......
Those people who take them too seriously are the reason why these bombers manage to make the world shake with fear - they are seen as either heroic martyrs or tragic fools.
If the rest of the world would stop trying to rationalize them and just laugh at their asses as the bunch of brainless twits that they are, perhaps fewer of them might become willing to choose that career path.

I totally agree with cfalk. Don't give these people more 'kudos' at all. In fact, although I abhor terrorism, maybe in the long run suicide bombings are 'better' than car bombings in that at least the bastard dies in the process. Imagine if all these Islamic fanatics decided to stop suicide bombs and use conventional terrorism. They could each cause a series of bombings before being caught, instead of just the one attack. That would be even worse. Don't let the f*ckers believe they are having a major effect, and then their act is not so 'heroic' any more

Charles and Ryan, I wonder if you'd still be talking like this if busses were blown up by them in your country. They are murderers and terrorists, but laughing at them will certainly not reduce anybody's hatred toward us "infidels".
Walk together, talk together all ye peoples of the earth. Then, and only then, shall ye have peace.

Worse? The 9-11 terrorists, for instance, were only able to act once......and were never "caught". Obviously this analysis has a little problem somewhere...

They have a major effect; and I guess you're able to understand why.

No, the reason why the world is shaking with fear is more evident than this....It's the horrifying result of these attacks which is making the world shake with fear.

Notice that when Israel responds to the terrorism, they try to strike directly at the Leaders who encourage it and other known terrorists and hideouts. Yes, there is some collateral damage..but they try to limit it (much like when the US bombed Afghanistan and Iraq and killed innocent people).
Now when the Hamas or whoever, goes on a suicide mission, do they target the Israeli army? no...they blow up innocents having dinner in a cafe, on busses going to work, Disco's and a University cafateria, etc...
It just infuriates me. The same people that believe the Paletinian terrorists are fighting a just cause with the means at their disposal, might as well be cheering for the 9/11 terrorists because it's the same damn thing.
Civilized societies do not purposely kill innocent people. period. If Hamas and other terrorists near Israel laid down their arms today, there would be no more bloodshed. If Israel laid down their arms today....these groups would all run in with machetes and guns and try to kill every jewish person.
