As the late Desi Arnaz was famous for saying "Luuuceeeee...you've got some 'splainin' to do"

Now let me get this straight............. .

Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.

His wife Hillary got $8 million for hers.

That's $20 million for memories from two people who for eight years
repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.

God Bless America

ROTFL. Well, at least that'll pay off their legal bills, after the Witch Hunt brought to you by Ken Starr and his merry band of Republicans, the show that ran Off Broadway for 8 years.  Laugh out loud

At least it keeps them in the spotlight, which gives people like Rush something to bithch about.  Wink/being sarcastic

That just proves how valuable these memories are! Never publicly seen before revelations! Big grin

I don't care who the lunatic was appointed by, B757300, the man spent 8 years investigating Clinton, spent over $50 million of taxpayers money-AND FOUND NOTHING!! He's right up there with Ashcroft in being a certified wacko.

And JAL777, I'm perfectly happy with Ohio's two Republican Senators. So much for that.

The best part is that he's getting $80,000 from the Government this year as part of the tax cut, he was speaking out against it saying that it favors the rich who will not spend the money.

He would rather not get the tax cut and let the money go towards head start programs etc.

Now there's a man with some morals. One who would rather have that $80,000 go to benefeit others than go into his pocket. If only Bush had that mentality. But nope, he does it for the rich. Check out the front page of today's (Thursday) NY Times. Shows that how with the Bush taxcuts, the richest percent of the nation are earning more and more through these tax cuts, while middle America gets screwed.

Getting a blowjob in the oval office might be immoral, then again some may argue that attacking a country and causing countless civilian deaths, destroying infrastructure, leaving behind anarachy and losing dozens of your own men based on flimsy evidence that appears to be untrue is pretty immoral.

Of course that's not of my business as a non-American, but I really find this story

1) Stupid
2) Sad
3) Very specific to a country which has some very special problems with his history and his own society.

I ask the question: WHO CARES IF BILL CLINTON HAD A BLOW-JOB IN HIS OFFICE ??

The only-thing Starr regrets is not to have had himself a blow-job, but he just can't admit it.

I agree with Cba.
Bill Clinton was waaaaaaaay more morals than any GOP President since WWII.

It's too bad most people judge Clinton by the whole Moinca affair.
Clinton was a great President and I hope we live to see another fine gentleman as our leader in the future.

uh-huh...tell that to the owners of the pharmaceutical plant in Sudan. Or the Iraqi civilians killed in Operation Desert Fox...launched interestingly enough on the eve of the man's impeachment. Sorry pal, all US Presidents have some bad quality. Generalizing GOP vs. Democratic Presidents DOESN'T fly.
