Has anyone been there? What can you tell me about it...good food? Nice atmosphere? Drive-thru's available?

The place has, simply put, the best subs I've ever had. My best friend's parents own condo on Amelia Island, and we always make a pilgrimmage to Larry's Giant Subs when we head out there.

It's absolutely worth the trip, believe me.

I used to eat at one in St. Augustine (about 30 miles south of Jax) when I lived there. We even used them for catering on some of our flights (the boss was cheap when it came to catering). While I don't share EA CO AS's enthusiasm for them, they are a welcome change from boring old subway.

Atmosphere? What atmosphere? It's a typical sub shop. Like going in a subway. Not sure if they all have drive throughs, though. The one in St. Augustine did.

Yeah they are good. The interiors are basic, they aren't a fast casual place with nice interiors like Panera Bread or anything. I have only had one sub from there, but now that I live in Jacksonville (currently in Atlanta however), I will eat there more often.

Agree with the fanfuckingtastic comment though wholeheartedly. The best cheap subs anywhere, hands down!
