The German media is reporting that Germany's No.2 goalkeeper, Jens Lehmann, is in the final talks with Arsenal London. Apparently Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are just discussing the money issues. The rumours are that it will be around 4 Million €.
And as refernce Lehmann just got sent off with a red card in the pre-season cup match against Bochum.

No, I've changed my mind about Seaman. He's now utterly brilliant, and always will be, and my view has nothing to do with him just signing for Manchester City.
What's going on at City these days? It's become a retirement home for old goalkeepers! First Schmeichel now Seaman.
She's as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot.

What sort of a problem do you have with Lehmann? He's a great substitute for Seaman, except for the length of his hair ...after watching him for a few games you'll think Seaman never went away
Arsenal: He's good, sometimes he's very good, and occasionally he's downright unbelievable, sort of like the Kahn level....unfortunately sometimes he's so incredibly bad that it makes one think "my granddad could have caught that one with his hat and closed eyes", oh and yes, sometimes he tends to get kicked by the referee, so you better get 2 keepers...just in case!

That's hard to say, to get the joke you'd need to know German television. There's a company called Fielmann, they manufacture and distribute glasses (obviously!), and there commercial slogan is
Brille: Fielmann
up there you see a ball...well you'd guess there is a ball somewhere in the pic flying in you direction, and below someone says: "ok, Jens, you've got that one"...the whole joke obviously relates to those situations I've described above, where he doesn't quite reach Kahn-level

Let me put it like this: If he gets the proper treatment to stop him from having severe blackouts, and maybe teach him to have a better overview over the penalty area and maybe, if you could add a little bit of training for his nerves, so he doesn't lose his temper too often, then, but only then you'd have one of thebest keeprs in the whole wide world...
sounds promising...
