I extend a happy Presidents Day to each and every American on this forum. Today we can celebrate the lives and accomplishments of such great men as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams.

God bless America.

"Government that can supply everything you need can take away everything you have... the course of history has shown that as government grows, liberty decreases." --Thomas Jefferson

How many people actually do something on President's Day? I for one, along with many others, see this as a day I can get up late and not have to go to school. I don't do anything special. Is there anyone who celebrates this day in another way? In any case, happy President's Day.

Private schools usually have a 4-day weekend around this time. Some public schools do too...

My school district is screwed up. We got Friday off, but not today. I think we should have got both days off. Now that I think about it, why not the whole week!

President's day? What's that? I just got out of my weekly dose of pain and suffering called a course in Kant's moral theory...

I got a four day weekend because of this; that is why I thank Washington and Lincoln for living Big grin (j/k)
