ok....let's see if we can't get a break from the crass topics before we all get booted again.

Anyway, here's a challenge for you.

What are some full length albums or CD's that you can listen to ALL the way through, where you like ALL of the songs.

There are a lot of albums where you like a handful of the songs. The majority of "top 40" albums from the last 12 years or so are usually one or two "hits" with the rest of the tracks as "filler".

I found myself wondering this, and considering how many songs and artists I like, very few albums can I listen to from begining to end without skipping over a song or two. Considering I have some 400 CD's, this isn't all that great a list. There are a LOT of CD's where I like MOST of the songs, but there is one or two on each that I don't like and have to skip.

But this is what I came up with:

Bruce Springsteen "Born In The USA"

John Cougar Mellencamp "The Lonesome Jubilee"

Cocteau Twins "Heaven Or Las Vegas"

The Ocean Blue "Beneath The Rhythm And Sound"

Cat Stevens "Tea For The Tillerman"

Fleetwood Mac "Rumours"

Robert Miles "Dreamland"

Bob Dylan "Desire"

Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon
The Grateful Dead- American Beauty
The Rolling Stones- 40 Licks

Those are my three favorites. On all those albums, I actually like every song on the album.

In fact, I can spin the C&C album any time of the day, and loop it forever. best album I've bought in 3 years.

The BOC, well, it's a wonderful soundscape, brilliantly composed.

I'm surprised.... Another Cocteau Twins listener in the forum. "Heaven or Las Vegas" is probably one of their more up-beat collection of tunes. Me likes veddy mooch.

Gotta agree with Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, although I do sometime hit the 'next song' button at "Oh Daddy". Also agree with "Dark Side of the Moon"

Also Floyd's 'Wish you Were Here', 'Animals', and 'The Wall' (but my wife skips "Vera Lynn" when she's in the car)
Queen '- Night at the Opera' and 'Sheer Heart Attack', several other with just 1 marginal song.
The Refreshments - 'Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy'
REM - several
Gin Blossoms - 'New Miserable Experience'
Berlin - 'Pleasure Victim'
Garbage - 'Garbage' and 'v2.0'
Chili Peppers - 'Californication'
U2 - 'War' and several others

You know, I could keep going, there are plenty more.
But I don't feel like typing anymore!
