So I was listening to Five Live (a radio station here in the UK) and the presenter interupted someone else with news that a plane George Bush was on had come under a "terrorist attack", and that that attack had been a failure. He said news was coming in and he's update us later. About 10-15 minutes later he said the "previous news" (without mentioning it) hadn't happened and there was some sort of mistake at the BBC.
What's going on?! A BBC gaffe or did anything actually happen?

Not hearing anything about it on CNN. Anyway, I hear a man was shot and killed by police yesterday after running a police checkpoint set up near the President. Apparently, he was mentally disturbed and didn't know anything about the President being around.
Last year 1,944 New Yorkers saw something and said something.

And the man shot at the base of Mt. Lemmon died while Bush was snoring away near Waco. He was never near the president and could not have posed any threat even if Barney Fife were guarding the road. The man, apparently, decided to die at the age of 37 and chose police as his method.
No serious threat has ever been presented to any presidential aircraft.
Is grammar no longer taught is schools? Saying "me and her" or some such implies illiteracy.
