Inspired by the "automatic versus manual" thread, I'd like to know what you consider extra (luxury) equipment that a car just has to have in order to please you.
I think a car must have:
1. air condition
2. decent radio with good speakers
3. cd changer
4. electric window lift
5. on-board computer (for fuel burn etc., not a PC)
6. Xenon headlights
In addition to that, it should have electrically moving seats with memory if to be driven by various people.

a car must have
1) 4 wheels
2) an engine
More seriously:
* enough space to carry people AND their luggage (in some cars, you have 7 seats. But in this case, forget about any luggage)
* CD changer, radio
* electric windows
* No air conditionning
On this list, the only thing I don't have in my Corsa is space... But for the price I paid it, that's OK

Let's start from the basics -
4 doors
AUTOMATIC! - I can't drive a manual and have no desire to learn.
Space inside
That's about it. Here in Colorado I drive and SUV, and believe me, after blizzard of 2003 I am glad I do. If you ever want to get to rwy 8/26 both sides, SUV is a way to go. If you ever want to go camping over continental divide, SUV is a nice thing to have.

you know, it's not all that hard to drive a manual. i actually find automatis a pain in the ass. you have to floor it to get it to downshift and the stupid shifter on the column idea. (who thought of that anyway?)
as for suv's, people wonder why it's hot as hell. keep spewing out more exhaust from your car, we'll drown ourselves!

A truck to save it from the sand. True where I live.
I want a vehicle (truck) wtih A/C and an AM/FM/cassette/CD. That's it, No power anything. OK, it is a king cab, gets at least 23 MPG and has alloy wheels. Gee, I have that.
The trash hauler gets 14 MPG, no windows, no radio, no A/C and no brakes. But damn the beast, after 28 years and 390000 miles, I can't just let her go.
What is it with all the "is there a possibilty airline X will.." threads? The answer it'll is possible.

A very nice list from me..
-Cruise Control (Shame on most Euro cars that dont have this)
-Readable Tachometer (Ive seen some sports cars that have one where you need a magnifying glass)
-Onboard Computer (Not necessarily Nav. + CD / FALO / FALT), South Africa">LCD but basic mpg, miles left to empty, temp etc.)
-In case of SUVs if you dont have 4x4 (Preferably with 4LOW and 4HI modes) its like being of the male gender and not having genitalia.
-Air Condition
-Automatic or Clutchless Manual
-5+ CD Changer with good radio (Preferably Pioneer or Sony)
and speakers (Bose preferably)
-V6 or higher minimum 4.0L, Minimum horsepower for SUV (200) for Sports Car (250)
-Power Everything, Includes windows, mirrors, locks with keyless entry.
-Good tires (Preferably Goodyears or Pirellis)
-Sports car? Bah throw me in a set of Flowmasters! D

give me any car with a 170+ hp engine and a decent maual transmission. they're jsut as good!"
You just said we will drown because of SUVs. That is not being practical, its just a stupid statement based on no facts...What the heck is a 400hp 8.4L V10..if your going to make something up at least make it realistic ffs
Superfly: RWD is a must, unless you have 4x4. (You know my Impala is all about that RWD )
