I think there should be an investigation on this, well infact there are already two investigations. Lets see we have a Pot Dealer a Corrupted individuals. I cannot see how Clinton Pardened the pot dealer from california, since the dealers family gave money to the dems before, especially to clinton fund raising and probably for the pardons. i mean a last day pardon, its not like he picked it out of the black! Then theres Mr Rich..... Thats a whole other story1

Everyone knows that a great deal of these were just passed out favors that were purchased or somehow previously arranged. Thats why there are investigations going on right now. He shouldn't have done it and it will be determined as to wether he had the moral right to do so.

EVERY single President (yes, even the Republicans *gasp*) have pardoned shady people for questionable reasons! You guys are just looking for more ways to get back at Clinton for the '92 victory. Geez, get a grip...  Insane

But I don't recall of a president pardoning over 130 people(I think that is what it was) in the last few hours he was in office. Most pardoned very few people.

Hey, if you want to waste millions in tax-payer dollars to investigate 130 pardoned people just for revenge on something that happened 9 years ago, go right ahead. But that is as deep as it gets, revenge.

WN please list all the republican presidents who pardoned at least 40 people while in office for the last 2 days? Clintons pardons also may have included corruption such as bribing.

No, we have the right as the people of this nation to investigate if our ex-president did comitt a crime while pardoning these people and we also have the right to bust the corruption in our government.

Good, you can start with the 2000 election.

Are you shocked and horrified that Clinton actually pardoned people? He was the President, you know.

Anyway, it is still revenge. That is all you care about.

Maybe we can do the 2000 elections, we had to count 3 times and 3 times we got the same results plus Gore didnt even want to count the absentees. Im shocked he pardened convicted criminals guilty of drug-dealing-treason-murder and such. WN i want to see the list of those Rep Presidents; if you do not hqve one then you lied in your post. Im seriouslly going now.

Oh KROC will love this.

In my post, I said:
"EVERY single President (yes, even the Republicans *gasp*) have pardoned shady people for questionable reasons!"

Please highlight the "40" in there.

And besides, what does the number of pardoned people have to do with anything? Grasping at air, again.

Please, it was 9 years ago, let it go.

Oh, and LOT, while we're at it, could you please name me all the Democratic Presidents who sold illegal arms to Contras? Or broke into Republican Campaign Headquarters? Or leased naval reserves at Teapot Dome, Wyo., and Elks Hill, Calif.?

See, works both ways.

Yes I believe the pardons were wrong and motivated only by money and contributions. But as George Bush has said/implied many times, why can't we look to the future and forget about the past? LOT767-300ER, your buddy Arlen Specter in Congress has even suggested a second impeachment of Bill Clinton, as if that is so possible since he is out of office. Yeah, and didn't George Herbert Walker Bush pardon Caspar Weinberger who was someone that could have testified against him in Iran-Contra?

OK, so Clinton was a corrupt president without any morals, but it's time to move on. Stop wasting time and money with all of these investigations that would in the end amount to nothing and let Hillary do her job as representing us people in New York. Dan Burton is a hypocrite anyway. (read the article at http://www.prospect.org/webfeatures/2001/02/sobel-l-02-22.html)

To the Republicans, it's over so deal with it.

We're Nut's said-- "And besides, what does the number of pardoned people have to do with anything?"

LOL, that is the whole point of what we are talking about. If you say that, then I say "what does the number of votes that you feel were not counted in Florida have to do with anything?"

I am sick of hearing about it. Sick.

And it is the LIBERAL media that is milking the story for every second of airtime possible. Even Ed Koch went on TV today and said (paraphrasing here) "I once thought of Clinton as a great president, but no longer..." Clinton just thinks he can get away with anything he wants- and reasonably so, since the scumbag gotten away with just about everything the last eight years.
Yes, he pardoned Rich, and we all know the story behind that. Yes he pardoned the drug guy who is still under investigation by the Federal government. Yes he pardoned a few more people for money. Yes he pardoned people against the strong recommendations of the judge and prosecuters in the case. Yes he, Hilary, and Hilary's brother schemed to rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars to pardon a few people.

IS THIS NEW?

I think the media should kinda back off a bit. Let's hear about how great our new president is doing (BTW, he gave his first press conference today- very well done), not about scumbag ex-president Clinton's latest law-breaking escapades.

It'll come back to bite him in the ass.
