To continue our theme, here's a thread for any other geographical monuments or curiosities near you.

This is the famous Four Corners Monument, a monument to the point where four US states (Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico) meet:

And this is the monument where Italy, Slovenia, and Austria meet -- the only place where the Romance, Slavic, and Germanic worlds come together:
