Actually my favourite Boss record is Born In The USA, some of my friends really rate The River and Born To Run stuff but sometimes there's a mega-million selling album that makes no sense (ie 30m sales of Come On Over by Shania Twain; some of Mariah Carey's albums are 15m+) but some albums are just so obviously in tune with what's happening, and an artist has really hit such a high creative peak at the same time, and you get Born In The USA.

Gery Halliwell - It's raining men.
Pet Shop Boys - Go West.
Backstreet Boys - Show me the meaning of being lonely.
New Kids on the Block - Step by step.
