ahaha oy veh...

[it says that the above is too short for a relevant post, so i have to ruin the esthetic qualities of a one-liner and post something actually important...]

shalom translates into hello, goodbye, and peace. you tell me which one doest fit  Big grin.
'mazel tov' is another one you may want to jot down, for the next bar/bat mitzvah you may attend. simply means, congrats.
oy veh. well, pretty much self explanatory lol.

Not being Jewish, but I do think I remember...Ten solemn days of true evaluation, starting with somber Judgment Day, no?

May you be inscribed in the book of life for a year of health, peace and prosperity

On Rosh Hashana it is written

On Yom Kipper it is sealed

Happy New Year to our Jewish Friends...Jack

all best; jack

Thanks everybody! Shana tova to everybody else out there.

Last night was great, after services we had a nice big dinner, then I went out and chilled with a bunch of friends. We played poker and watched spaceballs, and then came back to the Res Hall and played DDR into the wee hours of the nights  Laugh out loud
