I liked his statement to the press concerning the incident. Let's hope it helps to calm the nerves of everyone in Chicagoland.

And hey, a free three month stay at a resort in Florida is nothing to sneeze at either!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

People seem to forget that this man is hailed as a hero not just by residents in Florida, but by still-stunned Atlanta residents, and the entire South-side of Chicago, still seething about the White Sox blowing their playoff hopes at the last minute. I feel sorry for him. He did what ANY other fan would have done.

Now that the Cubbies are going golfing, this guy will never know another moment's peace. Too bad, especially when half of Chi-town had their eyes on that foul ball.

If anyone should seek asylum in Florida, it ought to be the Cubs team. Losing games 6 and 7 with Prior and Wood.....wow, say it ain't so!

Like a typical chicago team.

Cubs choked.

You can't blame this on anybody but the cubs.

I'm with 'Bronco on this one. Guess what happens when you put your faith in a Chicago team that doesn't play soccer. I'm all for evicting Daley, not like it has to do with anything, but it'd still be nice  Big grin.

This dude is now officially a marked man I fear in the Chicago area...wonder 1. if he takes it, and 2. was it a mistake revealing himself?
