I already did a search for this and found nothing so I don't know if this has been discussed before.........
I saw the movie 28 days later a couple of months ago, but unly untill recently I read on the newspaper that there is another ending right after the credits, has anyone seen it?......what is the difference from the first "happy" ending?

I wouldn't want to spoil it for you
It's definitely not a matter of everyone living happily ever after in some remote farmhouse.
It's easy to criticise the film industry for always making happy endings, but I think the alternate one is just too bleak. The film already has some kitsch, twee bits (for instance, most of the little girl's script), so a hopeful ending isn't really so incongruous
You could get the DVD, with everything included - it's been available since May in the UK.

That movie just left me so uneasy. I don't think it was that great, just something about it made me feel weird for several days. The first of it was F'ed up, the end of it was just weird in my opinion.

I saw it a while ago. Despite the gore, blood, nudity etc. I thought it had a good plot. If they had made it as a different type of virus or something, it would've been better, if they had just arranged it up a bit.

I saw it on DVD last weekend. Not a bad movie, all in all, but I wouldn't say that it was worth all the hype it has gotten.
There were two alternate endings on the DVD, but due to lack of time I was able to watch only one. The one I saw differed from the "regular" ending in that we saw only Serena and Hannah in the farmhouse signalling the fighter aircraft - Jim was nowhere to be seen, presumably dead.
"Let me think about it" = the coward's way of saying "no"
