There are people who do some dumb things, but to deliberately jump in the water with no safety equipment and go over the Niagra falls is up there in the top ten (actually even with safety equipment its just as dumb).

I fired a small fishing harpoon in a garden when I was practicing for taking out to sea and I aimed a little higher than I should have. The retaining strap caught it as it reached the end and brought it back with the prongs going into my leg. Just glad I didn't aim it like a gun!

This is my 200th post so i reveal my open stupidity.
I was up on a cricket net watching the game (you get a better view from up there) then i got up to get a drink and took a couple of steps backwards took one more and fell 5 meters straight down and landed on my wrists, the impact dislocated them both and broke my rights arm in 3 spots and my left in 4 not to mention about 3 greenstick fractures withing the bones of my wrist. Minor surgery and 3 years later im am all better now and due in for Shoulder Reconstruction on tuesday.
cheers to all keep safe.
