This is a story that has to be told.

First of all, I consider myself a very "street smart" person. I've been to New York City more times than I can count.

Hows this for interesting? It was about 2AM, Sunday morning, in New York City, my cousin and his friends decide that after we hit up the strip club (it was his bachelor party) we'd head to an Irish bar by his apartment. I split, realizing I need to first make a stop at Kinkos to make sure that some of my lab partners completed an internet project that was due later that day. So I'm out of cash for obvious reasons, and I'm standing at the corner of 42nd and 6th waiting for a cab to come by that takes credit cards (very few do, but the ones that do have credit card logos on the side of their car). Anyway, I'm standing at the corner for about 20 minutes with no luck and I'm getting a bit cold. A Blazer pulls up and a girl, decent looking (didnt look too skanky) probably in her early 20s, rolls down the window and asks if I need a ride. Being the naive person I am, I take her up on the offer, figuring if she is going to rob me, I can just jump out of the car relatively safely considering we're in the middle of NYC. So we drive a several blocks, and she asks where I'm from, what I'm doing in New York, etc. Out of nowhere, she asks.... "So do you want to have sex....or get a blowjob, or something else." I'm not too shocked, I knew that there had to be a catch for the free ride. I politely decline, at the same time realizing my utter stupidity for taking this ride with a stranger. Anyway, she's cool about it, we talk about Dallas, and she drives me up to the Kinkos on 79th and Lex, kisses me on the cheek and lets me out of the car. Should I get my cheek checked for STDs? Oh well, beats the hell out of a $10 cab ride.
