This story is goimg to get a lot of press today as the trial starts for 'real' with the prosocution presenting their case. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cambridgeshire/3242307.stm

What does surprise me though is that both parties have pleaded not guilty. With the woman on what appears to be minor charges (attempting to pervert the cause of justice), you would think that it would be better to plead guilty if she had done it. So I am wondering if they really did do it and the police, desperate to catch whoever did it, have only a circumstantial case. Speculation of course but it's going to be an interesting case. For the parent's sake though, I hope the police have got it right.
