No, it was started by someone who is still here. Sean Mendis is the founder and his username is B747-437B. It is a website, where people can bawk at stupid questions like this without getting banned from this website. Sort of an "All things go" version of these forums. If I may add, B747-437B is very wise and a very good columnist. In fact, I find airwhiners.net very funny and even the administrator of this website likes to read it.
