I always used Internet Explorer until I tried Avant Browser, which is a tad better. Now I'm using Opera and its just so fast and really nice! All I miss is a pop up blocker, which was a neat feature of Avant Browser. Apart from that, Opera is best!
Which one do you use? Anybody got a better one than Opera?

I used to be a hardcore Netscape fanatic... used most versions of 4.x and 4.7x. I found Netscape 6 to be a big disappointment, a step back in my mind in that it had too much additional crap that I didn't need. That said I have always had many problems with Netscape freezing on me. So I finally gave up and went to IE 5.x.

Now with my new comp I am using IE 6 and have very few problems with it. Just need to find a decent pop up blocker.

Safari

(I used Netscape Navigator from 1996-1998, then switched to IE until Safari came out earlier this year)

Internet Exploder represents all that is evil and wrong with the world. Not to mention the way Outleak and Outleak Express see anything remotely viral as a long time best friend. I use Netscape 7.1 for Browser and Email. I found the new pop-up blocker to be effective without blocking out things I need to pop up. The jury is still out on the spam filter on the mail client. It sees love letters from KROC as spam so I am not sure if I like that or not... If I have angered the delete gods I want to know how I did it instead of having my spam killer take care of them for me. I use Mozilla and Opera as backups and love them both.. I have even gone so far as to pay for Opera instead of using the free version.

You act like disabling Internet Exploiter is a bad thing.

Mozilla Firebird 0.7.1 for Mac OS X. Safari on the laptop, though. IE sits around as backup for yucky web sites that don't like Firebird and Safari.

Before that I was using various versions of OmniWeb 4.

Before that I used versions of IE ranging from 2 to 5.

Before that I used Lynx.

Opera should have a popup blocker. Avant Browser is actually a shell on top of IE.

IE 6.0 at home primarily, Opera at work with the slow computers that can't handle IE, used to be die hard Netscape but now they blow.
