...anybody gonna listen to him ? He comes on in about 5 minutes. Guess I will for a while, but will reserve any comments until after I hear what he may (or may not) say. Regards...Jack

No. I'll be out cleaning the garage and listening to Romie. I wish Rush well in his recovery, I sincerely do, but I don't need to be assulted by his right-wing garbage, either.

I really don't need to listen to Rush cry on the air, and blame his drug abuse on the Clintons, the Democratic Party, and whatever else he can think of.
I listened to Arnie do his Rush impression on the Stern show this morning, and the rest of the gang bag on him for a bit. That gave me my quota of Rush.
Plus like Alpha 1 said. Rome is on as well.

Since we've got Romey back on in New Orleans, he'll be on in my office, as well.
What an idiotic thing for Singer to say. Shows what a jerk he is. And, directed at a member of the Dodgers organization, whom he played (and pitched a no-hitter) for. Classless move.
As for Rush, I'll wish the same thing for him that I would for anyone else who has a drug addiction: that he is able to get reformed, put it behind him, and get on with his life.

Well, nothing earth-shattering on his return, and he thanked his well-wishers. He seemed pretty candid about the addiction deal, and after the first forty or so minutes, was pretty much back to what you'd expect. I was a bit surprised to hear on another news show that he lost not one sponsor nor one station during his absence. I gotta do some searching and see if Rome's broadcast here in the Detroit area. Regards...Jack

Jack, Rome is on WDFN the Fan. What is that, 1130 AM I think? If you missed the Tour Stop there at the end of last July, you missed a great time! Lotta beer went down that day!
Oh and Rome is on from 12pm to 3pm.

Thanks, KROC. I'll station-set the vehicle and make a note of WDFN at home. You're right! I'll bet I would have enjoyed the tour stop, but July was a zoomy month with Airliners Int'l and getting the TBM screwed back together. All best...Jack
