Ok, we've talked UM-OSU ad nauseum. There WERE other games, you know!!
Oklahoma and USC both romped again. The only real upset was Washington beating Washington State. One team that seems to be peaking at the right time is Tennessee. And LSU keeps it's hope for going to the Sugar Bowl alive with a huge win over Ole' Miss. And Cinderella TCU had it's season turn into a pumpkin.
My Falcons won handily, setting up a showdown with arch-rival Toledo (where my brother went to school) for the MAC West Title. If #23 BG wins at home Friday evening, they're assured a bowl berth, either in the GMAC, most likely aginast TCU or Souther Miss, or the Motor City Bowl against Iowa, Michigan State or Wisconsin. I'll take any of those games.

How about the Heisman Trophy, people? Does it go to Jason White at Oklhaoma? Did Chris Perry make a great late run to win it? Does a super soph in Lary Fitzgerald get it?
Personally, I think the best player in the country is Ben Rothlesberger. QB at Miami of Ohio. Look at his stats-and against some pretty decent teams. He'll be the first QB taken in the draft-IF he comes out. The scary thing is he's only a junior. If he stays till next season, he may be a favorite for the award.

So the big game of the year here in Boulder is on Friday...the dreaded Nebraska Cornhuskers come into Boulder to take on my Buffs...alas I must return home for Thanksgiving so I can't see it in person ....a win vs. the Huskers would make us bowl-eligible, and who knows...we had a good start to the season, terrible middle but a solid finish...I think we could slip into the Boonie Bowl or something like that...
