I prefer the denser more filling Dunkin' Donuts to the light and empty Krispy Kremes myself.

Omigod, like, you didn't touch that subject!
Lemme tell ya, Dunkin' or Sunny donuts are great. I like fluffy big donuts that are fresh, cold, and soft. Mainly the fruit filled, otherwise glazed.
Now them Krispy Kream's are so DISGUSTINGLY sweet, like there is more sugar than bread, its stupid! It's just gooey and really skinny and drips everywhere and I'm like "what the hell, why are they warm, like i picked up some small intestine or sumpin"
I think it is weird to see and individual eating a KK donut with a fork and knife! IT'S NOT A PIE, puto!

Here is Southwest Texas we have Shipley's...real donut lovers will choose Shipley's (or the very local mom and pop shops) over KKs.

Contrary to the popular opinion on this thread, I prefer Krispy Kreme to Dunkin' Donuts. And remember, there is a Dunkin' Donuts on every corner here in Boston; there is one Krispy Kreme establishment in the entire metro area. Still, I prefer Krispy Kreme, but more often than not, convienience outwieghs preference, and I drive the 2-3 min to Dunkin' Donuts, rather than the 15 to Krispy Kreme.
As far as the trans-fat thing goes, I think it's ok to have a donut every once in a while. I don't eat donuts that often, but they are a nice treat sometimes.

I am a KK fan. I go to DD most of the time, simply because my town of about 25000 has 5 DDs, and the nearest KK is down in Medford, MA, which is about a 30 minute drive. I find KK to be of a much-higher quality than DD though, and when I need to get a bunch of doughnuts for something (tailgates, parties, etc.), KK is my stop.

Krispy Kreme everytime over Dunkin' Donuts. It is really hard to compare the two, as they are two different doughnut types. KK uses a yeast-based recipe, which gives the doughnut a lighter texture; DD uses a cake-based recipe, which yield doughnuts which are denser and have a cake texture. They recently reopened the KK near where I lived, they tore down the building and put in a newer one, and it is quite nice. They offer some additional coffee drinks, and have an incredible doughnut selection (the NY cheesecake filled one is the best!). Plus they have "The Doughnut Theatre", where you can watch the entire doughnut making process. I could watch that for an hour and still not get bored.
