Hey folks

I am interested in purchasing an iPod and had a few questions:

1) I have a Windows-based OS, so I would need to purchase a USB 2.0 cable, right?
2) After I purchase that cable, am I all set to go?

My computer does not have FireWire to the best of my knowledge, so that is why I am asking.

Any Windows non-FireWire iPod user help would be appreciated!

You will be all set after you get this:

MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M9126G/A>

Unless you get the non-dock iPod in which case just get some other USB 2 cable I guess.

I'm a mac ipod user, but I think you only need the USB2 cable if your ipod is a new one (that is, if it comes with the dock). More info here:
