Who should it be? Jason White of Oklahoma? Larry Fitzgerald of Pitt? Chris Perry of Mi....Mi....Mich...that school up north?  Laugh out loud Eli Manning of Ole' Miss? Other candidates you have?

I can tell you who I think should at least be considered, and is not even being mentioned, but I'll do that later. But for now, let's hear what you think, as the regular season comes to a close.

I have to cast my vote for Eli Manning, if for no other reason that Peyton was robbed of it back in 1997...what a joke that was! I've met the Manning's before....terrific people. Eli all the way!

As a Pitt student, my vote goes to Fitzgerald, the stuff that he does is amazing, and a great guy too.

All the Oklahoma players that tackled Sproles, they should get an invitation. By far the best players on the Oklahoma team.

With the OU loss tonight, I think Larry has a good chance. Go Pitt!

I don't think Fitzgerald gets it 'cause he's an underclassman, to be honest. I think it'll go to Eli Manning or Chris Perry.

Although neither Manning nor White is the best QB in the country, nor is Symons. The best QB in the nation plays his home games in Oxford, OH.

Fitzgerald won't get the Heisman. He lost the little chance he had when Miami shut him down 2 weeks ago. He will be a force next year no doubt. Jason White is still very much in the race, and I bet he still wins it. I would give it to Eli Manning though. Perry won't get it because of his and Michigans early season troubles.

There's the top QB in the country for you. Maybe he shouldn't win the Heisman, but the fact he's not even being mentioned shows that the Heisman is just a beauty contest for someone from a big school.

Anyone thinks Jason White is a Heisman caliber QB needs to get a clue. I agree with Alpha 1. Rothlesberger is probably the best QB in the country.

I can't believe that Southeast New Mexico State QB Chad Thomas isn't getting more run. He had an incredible season!

I'll stick with my very early-season comments on Perry. Actually, ALL these kids are great, but maybe because of a little Michigan prejudice, I'd still vote for Perry, with long second-looks at Manning. Regards...Jack

That was funny KROC.  Big thumbs up

I'm sure, if you think about it, every fan of every team has a guy they think should get the trophy. Although, you did notice I didn't do that-6 weeks ago, I would have, though.  Laugh out loud

Fitzgerald should get it, period, but I agree that the Miami game might have killed his chances. Truth is, "he" wasn't shut down by Miami. He could have been 12 feet tall and had the same numbers; Rutherford had no time to even throw the ball in his direction. Pitt's pathetic line cost him the Heisman that game.
OU's loss, however, has made it interesting. White is definitely a 21st century Gino.

Well, since everyone is flawed: Fitzgerald had a terrible game against the 'Canes, White had a terrible game against K-State, and Perry against Oregon, give it to the guy who has had 12 unreal games in a row-Ben Roethlesberger!  Big thumbs up

25 MD-90 : Phillip Rivers, but otherwise absolutely anyone but Manning (even though I will agree that Peyton should've gotten it back in his day).
26 KROC : Didn't Big Ben have a terrible opening game...while White had a an unreal 12 game run as well? NEXT!
27 Alpha 1 : Big Ben had 3 picks, but threw a TD, I believe, and threw for about 300 yards. Big Ben is a better QB than Jason White, hands down. NEXT!
28 Post contains images KROC : White threw 2 pics against K-State. Over all he had 40, thats FORTY TD passes and only 8 pics, while playing a tougher schedule. Just cause I shot dow
29 Post contains images Alpha 1 : White played for a better TEAM, which is why his numbers are so great. Not that he's a bad QB, but I think Big Ben is a better one. Here's Bens states
