I am thinking about doing it this summer. Anyone here have experience? Also, have you ever been in a skydiving sim?

What are your experiences?

Yikes! I would never do it. Im too scared, not afraid that Ill die, I just dont like the feeling of falling.

I would much rather just fly the plane  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I have 18 jumps under my belt, longest freefall from 7,500 feet, approx. 12 seconds. Fun stuff but very scary. I never got used to the rush, which is good. If I had money, I would pursue it.

I have done it last September (tandem jump) while on vacation in Australia (check my trip report if you like), and it was a fantastic experience. Already considering going for the licenses to do it on my own (just don't have those 1,500 bucks spare).
Go for it, there's nothing like jumping out of a plane from 12,000 feet!

The Metro might be the Sub(optimal)way

As John Wayne once said: I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane".

Nuff said.
