I remember seeing some time ago a website that showed the average amount of hairs on most living beings but I cannot find it now. Anybody have the link or any guesses about how many hairs on a cat?

I wonder how long it will take until someone comes up with a "How do I count the number of hairs on my a\$\$?" thread...

How often does the cat wax (if we really are talking about cats)

Easy. Weigh one cat hair. Then shave the cat, and weigh all the hair you shaved off. Divide the latter weight by the former, and you get the number of hairs on a cat. This is just an approximation. It's only accurate for a spherical cat, motionless in a vacuum. You'll have to make your own relativistic corrections.

Bob, thanks for the great help   Perhaps I can borrow your scale to weigh a cat hair as my scale isn't that sensitive. I'm also thinkin' I'm goin' to send you my cats too!!! The spherical cat thing is just too much. I have a Persian and an Ocicat and I don't know where to start to count hairs except the ones we pick off the couch ?!?!?!?!
