I just got back from Xmas shopping at my local Target store. Among the things I purchased were a couple of Target gift cards. While the cashier was ringing up my purchases, I asked her what was the largest amount anyone has spent on a gift card. She replied...."I have had 3 different people purchase gifts cards for $1000." I almost fell over.

Just wondering....if you could recieve a $1000 gift card, and you could have it from any store (or service) you desired....well..where would you want it from??

Department Store??
Computer Store??
Electronics Store??
Clothing Store??
Grocery Store??
Camera Store??
Any other store??
How about a travel gift card??
Target??????

I would want one for a computer/electronics store, because it would help me buy a laptop computer.

I would definitely have to choose Home Depot or Lowes. There's nothing I enjoy more than spending time in my backyard garden.

1000 bucks could potentially not go very far at a store like Best Buy.

Now $1000 at Target would be great. Who doesn't need clothes and stuff for the home, not to mention electronics and 40 lbs bags of dog chow?

I think I'd get one to Target. There is a ton there, from CDs and Ps2 games to sporting equipment.

If not Target then to J.Crew or The Buckle.

Definitely somewhere computer-related. I'd be doing some mad upgrades. $1000 would definitely turn my computer into a real hot rod.
