I find them kinda cool.
I have a green neon and a blue neon ventilator in one of my home PC's, and I'm considering getting neon IDE cables.
In one of my office computers I have a multicolored neon.
Do you also indulge in computer tuning in general ?

At the moment, all I have is 4 neon fans (2 blue in front for the cold air going in & 2 red in the back for the hot air going out) as well as silver IDE cables that have been bundled together (to save some space & give a better airflow through the case).

I have 2x12" UV cathodes, a motherboard with white textures, white cables and contacts and a HDD with glowing blue textures. All this squeezed in to an acrylic case with blue LEDs on the front.... oh yeah, it is glowing blue in the dark...
I'm also working with modifying my wireless optical mouse from logitech and a keyboard with transparent characters and blue leds.... yes I like blue, it's my favorite colour...

My dad has Neon blue lights on his case, but its part of the case itself.. looks pretty cool though.. My Uncle modded his computer himself.. I believe he also cut his fingers off in the process (not something you want to do!).

Well I suppose if you have a clear or transparent case that stuff could be cool. But the black and silver case supplied to me by Gateway makes such things pointless. The neon fan is only good if you can see it.

My computer is white all over, and that's fine with me.
A friend of mine has put plastic on one side of his computer, so that you can see through. Inside he has blue neon and something quite cool: he replaced his fan, build it's own water cooling system but instead of just water, he has some lime-green-fluid flowing running around in his computer.
I prefer to spend my money on fast hardware though.
