Dave Matthews is also from South Africa and I love their music. So you South Africans must be good for something  Big grin.

Dave's got more musical talent in his pinky than Seether's entire band. For that genre of current music Linkin Park is a much better band. You'd probally like The Deftones as well. As far as who's the best band though, it's The Beatles hands down.

USAir- Dave was born in South Africa, but moved to the United States as a child with his family. Boyd, Carter, Leroi, and Stefan were all born and raised here in the United States.

peace

Seether is pretty bad. I've grown tired of their music. They can't live up to a band like 311, I've been listenin' to them for yyyears!

Seether, I have to say, is one of the better bands out there. For example

"Back off, we take you on, head strong to take on anyone, I know that you are wrong, headstrong, we're headstrong!"
-Headstrong, by Trapt.

That is a crappy band.

As far as modern music goes, Seether, Linkin Park, Staind, The Mars Volta, Trust Company, Three Days Grace, and A Perfect Circle are all pretty good. Slightly older but just as good (too bad they called it quits) was Smashing Pumpkins. Their Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness cd was quite possibly one of the best cds of any modern music act.

But then again, there's only one METALLICA!!

DLKAPA - how on Earth could you exclude Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, or Queens of the Stone Age?

It can never be fixed?......

Yes I did forget those guys, thanks for reminding me, I'll just put them in right here. Nirvana, Foo Fighters, RHCP, and Queens of the stone age.

A nice little Band Aid
(get it?)

Soku39- Yeah, it's not great. It's decent, not as good as their last effort, noteworthy none the less.
