Does anyone know of any French bands that play alternative/rock music? Looking for something kinda like KYO.

Cheers,

It's "Mano Negra". Doesn't exist anymore for years.

"Telephone" was very popular 20 years ago.
You have also "Noir Desir", sadly famous now for his singer in jail in Lithuania to have beaten a French actress to death.

You have "Pigalle", "Les garcons bouchers" with the easy-to-recognise singer (he looks like a fat dangerous public enemy #1).

I can think of "Elmer food beat" which had a fast and very short success, with their VERY sexual lyrics.

There are probably many other bands that I don't know or don't remember.

Saddly, there are no real big Rock or Metal band in France ("Trust" was a good candidate but ...), I never understood why.

Unfortunately, Sebolino, even if he is younger than me, gives a lot of old bands
More recent and still playing, you have Blankass, Les tetes raides, La tordue, Les Wampas, Mickey 3D.
In another style, (mix of rock, rap, ragga, rai + The Toulouse accent , putain con!) you have Zebda.
