Swedes have more and more animal sex

Animal sex is not illegal in Sweden, and every year between 200 and 300 pets are injured because of sexual assaults.
The estimate was presented by Svenska Veterinärforbundet, the Swedish veterinary organization, and it is now trying to make the authorities and the public more aware of animals’ suffering. The organization claim the problem has increased during the last couple of years, even if most people are unaware of it.
“We have seen an increase since 1999 when child pornography became illegal,” said Johan Beck-Friis. “It appears, in other words, as there are some people who have replaced children with animals. In both circumstances, it is sex with defenceless individuals.”
The injuries inflicted on animals after sexual assaults are of the same character of those children get. Beck-Friis said that the most common injuries are wounds on the sex organs and blisters.
Animal porn
The fact that animal sex is becoming an increasing problem can be indicated by the mere fact that there is an increasing selection of animal porn at video rentals and there an increasingly number of websites with animal pornography is surfacing.
No one knows for sure how many animals that are abused, but a British study from 2001 indicates that every 20th dog or cat that receives treatment at veterinaries, the injuries are not a result of a direct accident, but the animal has been inflicted the injury as a result of a sexual assault.
According to the Swedish paper Expressen, if the same estimate can be used in Sweden that will indicate that 200 to 300 dogs and cats every year are injured as a result of sexual assaults.
Not illegal
In contrast with most other countries, animal sex is not illegal in Sweden. It was decriminalized in 1944 in connection with the decriminalization of homosexual sex.

See, man innately knows what's right and natural and what's wrong and unnatural. Everybody understands that bestiality is wrong...because the little voice within you tells you so. Trouble is, some don't listen to that voice when same-sex stuff is entertained.

However now some people will say that in homesexual relations (except, obviously, rape) both sides agrees with sex, while in zoophilia nobody asks their "partner".
But quite many of these supporters of gay/lesbian rights disagrees with pedophilia, where the child (could be teenager, since I believe at least here sex with person less than 14 is considered pedophilia) agrees with sex.
Same goes with necrophilia - after all, the dead body is not alive, so it's consent isn't needed.
Don't get me wrong, I am definitely not defending any of these sexual "orientations". Just supported Sleekjet's opinion.

I don't think that people who want to stop discrimination against gays also endorse rape, paedophilia, and bestiality behind closed doors.
It may be more difficult for you to argue against people's actual positions rather than constructing a strawman, but everybody else will appreciate it if you try.

Bobrayner, what is your opinion then about 'pedophilia' where the child/teenager (below 14 years) agrees with sex? Should it doesn't matter also if it's "behind close doors"? Here in Lithuania we recently had one quite controversial case where 18 years old male was arrested for having sex with 13 years old girld with charges of pedophilia. However, the girl agreed with sex and said that she loves the said man (in court, and latter in certain television show). What's your opinion on this?
And what is your opinion about necrophilia? After all, dead body is not a living thing, so, theoretically, "having sex" with it behind the close dooes doesn't harms anybody also. Of course, it may be argued that although it is not alive, it was once alive. But what if the person permitted to do this after his death?
This reminds me the case in Germany where a person permitted himself to be eaten. If everything is just about consents, than that cannibal shouldn't be tried also, since it happened behind closed doors also...

In most countries, there's an "age of consent", below which an individual isn't legally capable of consenting to sex.
Therefore, from a legal perspective, sex with somebody below this age is a Bad Thing. To the extent that I agree with any particular age of consent, I think it's a Bad Thing too.
Necrophilia?
From a legal perspective... it's difficult to do anything with a dead body, as the feelings of relatives &c. should generally be respected. In many countries, you can't even give your organs away after death if your relatives don't consent.
Personally, I wouldn't mind. After death, the body is just a lump of rotting meat, and I won't be using it any more. Bury me in a Y-shaped coffin.

Bobrayner was talking about the age of consent in different countries. I was wondering do they do the age of consent for animals in human years or dog years?
If you hump a 3yr old girl that is statutory rape and just plain sick. IF you hump a 3 year old dog is that statutory animal rape (still just plain sick)? or is that ok since in dog years the dog is 21?
I Guess in Sweden dogs really are a mans best friend.
