How Could I Make My 2000th Post Here Special?

I am in a kind of predicament here.
I want to make something special to celebrate my 2000th post here, but I cannot think of anything nice and worthy...

I had made a "My 1000th post on the forum thread" about a year ago, but we get waaaay too much of these recently – heck we even have some people glossing about their 924th post ! I don’t even want to post one of cat for them...

I could speak about the fact that when I arrived on A.net, I just owned an Olympus C730L digicam, which was absolutely not good for posting pics here (just 1.3 Mpixel) – although I did manage to get one pic on the database from this camera :

Then, reading the photography forums, I went for it and bought myself a 2Mpixel Olympus C700UZ, which got me over 300 pics into the database, (including my first uploaded pic, and a lot of nice night shots)

And with that camera, I shot various aircraft, from the smallest to the biggest

From the slowest to the fastest

Then another Elbonian which I shall (les eaux) not name here came along and sold me his camera (fuji S5000), which also got me a few shots in the database :

even though it is absolutely utter cr*p for night pictures (which means I still keep my C700...)

And I am even going to buy a DSLR in a few weeks...

Yeah, I could speak about that, but that would only lead to another plugfest... so I won’t make my thread about my photographic skills and my numerous digicam owning.

....

So... what could I speak about ?

I could say that before I came here, I had only once stepped into a cockpit (ATR72), but since then, I took up flying courses, and am now a licensed pilot, having soloed on those aircraft :

(Yep, taildraggers, not easy Cessnas...)

And I am now free to roam the mountains of the Alps, in Summer as in Winter :

And I've had some friends shooting pics of me, flying or having flown :

But then again, it would only be some shameful self glossing, not that’s not what I’m looking for.

I could also brag about the fact that I can get a lot of cockpit access and jumpseat rides (something that I’ve brought to an art form since I am a member here)

I could even tell you that to celebrate my 2000th post here I have a return flight on Friday Sunday on AF 319 then 318, and both those flights are to be flown on the jumpseat...
But then again, I’ll leave that for UTA when he reaches his 2000th (he is a better plugger that me...)

So... guys, any idea ? How could I make my 2000th post here special ?

A self-gloss about an impending self-gloss that he wants to be special. Leave it to a French guy to drop to a new low.....

Well, I've been rather fed up with all the standard "Hey, guys, my 100th post here" (not even worthy of my cat anymore - by the way), so I really wanted something original.

I notice however that I got shafted. Everything gets more and more difficult on the website. Younow need a DSLR to get pictures accepted on this site, and you need to be very very self glossing to get the longed shaft...

A hearty second on that one! Why gloat over such a trifling milestone. I admit I mentioned my 1000th post within my 1000th post, and that's been about it.

I was reserve in using my KO blast only because I wanted to let others pile on first. It was a matter of logistics.  Big grin

Well, I weighted the matter for some time before accepting the KO.

Waiting the 17th post is not a very good performance in regard of what you've used us to, but we'll say you're tired these days, and in need of a vacation.

So, KO is validated.
But only because it's you, and only because I have every right on this thread.

Hell, nothing wrong with me giving others the opprotunity to excel and drop the best crackback anyway. Since nobody stepped up....BAM, I had to do the do.
