2004 Big Smoke Line Up
Cigar Aficionado magazine's 2004 Big Smoke -- combining cigars, spirits and sustenance -- kicks off at a brand new spot. The behemoth Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City will play host to aficionados on the first leg of the Big Smoke tour on April 17.
From the Borgata, the event goes to the Hyatt in Chicago, then the Marriott Marquis in New York City's Time Square and finishes with the Big Smoke Weekend at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Sin City features two days of seminars, events and tastings in addition to the usual bevy of indulgences.
For about 150 bucks, you can eat, drink, and smoke all you want plus you get to take home at least 20 premium cigars which I'm very excited about.
I'll be heading to the one in Atlantic Citiy this April...Anyone else planning on going to one of the events?

Have never been to one of these... they sound like great fun. Maybe I'll use some of my tax refund to go to the one in Las Vegas. Although... I've been cutting back on my cigar smoking due to a heavy family history of cancer... sigh...

By all means...pay $150 to accelerate your lung cancer death. Bright thinking, idiots. Plus you can take some home to inflict on family and friends.
These are NOT intelligent people.
It is people with this sort of attitude that makes thing harder for anyone who smokes, be it the occassional cigar smoker or the pack a day cigarette smoker. More and more cities and states are enacting Draconian anti-smoking laws that don't even take the rights of smokers into account. Those who smoke have as much of a right to smoke as those who have the right not to be forced to breathe secondhand smoke.

Thanks for the bullshit. I don't sit in a room full of children and puff in their faces...I don't go into a room full of pregnant women and lock them in...Hell, lets face it, my lungs are shot already from house fires, car fires, etc. I am thoughtful as to where I smoke...I limit myself to a porch or a cigar bar. What you do in your time is your business. If you don't have any value to add to my thread, or any other for that matter, then don't respond.
The one in Sin City is a two or three day event for about 460 bucks..Lets hope your income tax check is big
