Ok on the CBC our buddy danny there was going on about how the weather folk were getting silly by sending a winter storm warning for Toronto for 4cm of snow, and they are!
Cmon people, 4cm of snow, its not the end of the world! Welcome to Canada, if you have half a brain you'd know the snow will come so just get half decent tires for yer truck and take your time and you'll be fine. 4cm is nothing, around ere we could get twice that ammount and we wouldnt care, just carry on through it and take our time, or simply get smart and dig out the snowmobiles...
So please people, can we stop being little chicken shits and learn to live with a few cm of snow?

Yep...all those subways, freeways, millions of people, cars and busses up there in Whitehorse never have a problem....
CanadianNorth...
Toronto is NOT Whitehorse. Winter in the arctic has many challenges that people there chose to deal with. Large cities like Toronto have other challenges unique to them.
Relatively small accumulations of snow can slow commute times of hundreds of thousands of cars on already saturated freeways quite substantially.
