I'm taking a trip to Montreal as well as upper Vermont next month. What should I do? Any good hotels? We leave Burlington, VT in the morning so I was wondering if there were anything there. Snow sports? hotels, other stuff to do. If anyones from this area please let me know. Thanks for the input.

Burlington is one of, if not the nicest "little" towns in the USA. It is primarily a college town, and the main drive down towards the water, has sorority houses lining the streets. It has little quaint areas to walk about in, shops etc, but it is certainly not a hip and exciting place. That said, the last time I was there, a woman in her 70's pulled off her top, and starting dancing around with her droppy breasts swinging from side to side.
Montreal is a huge North American city, and while it is still a huge concrete jungle like the rest of the big cities in the US and Canada, it has a much more European flavour to it. The trendier hang out places tend to be on St Laurent (plateau) and then on the mountain on the weekends.
and, both are bloody freezing this time of year...
