1. WHERE THE STREETS HAVE NO NAME
2. The sweetest thing
3. The unforgettable fire
4. Beautiful day
5. Pride (In the name of love)
6. With or without you
7. Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me
8. Bad
9. Even better than the real thing
10. New Year's day

For my number one I even didn't need to think.
Choosing the nrs. 2 - 10 was more difficult, as I had to leave out some other nice U2-songs.

Btw, I think "Where the streets have no name" is even one of the best songs in general music.

My favorite is "Running to stand still". I couldn't rank the rest though, all of their albums are great.

KROC,

They have a bunch of songs that have been played on the radio waves for years, not that it means anything, because that definitely doesnt mean the song is good.. Back in the 80's and early 90's, radio was much better than it is now.

Its not all about that 2004 HIP HOP shit.

"Yea Buoy, word up yo. West side, you got mudd on my K Swiss, now I gotta put 6 in ya chest for it!" Buck Buck, Bling Bling.

Isnt that how it goes?

I wouldn't even begin to rank their songs, but some of my favorites...

running to stand still, acrobat, love is blindness, one, the fly, another time another place, walk to the water, where the streets have no name, gone, if god will send his angels, hands that built america, discotheque, love rescue me, your blue room, tomorrow, out of control, staring at the sun.....

I'm a U2 fan, but I'm just not a big enough one to have a top 10. I own a lot of U2 CDs, though -

Achtung Baby
War
Joshua Tree
Boy
The Unforgettable Fire
October
All That You Can't Leave Behind
Wide Awake in America

Ok, well I guess I am a big enough fan to have a top ten, but I'm just not in a U2 phase right now. Now, Led Zeppelin, on the other hand...

Red Hill Mining Town is one of my favs also Matt. I like almost every Rattle n Hum album song, Heartland is one of the top for that album... Way to many excellent tunes to have a top 10 I know...

The reason I like The Unforgettable Fire so much is because it reminds me so much of 7-8 grade... I used to listen to that Album/Song constantly, Ill never get sick of it... One song that really brings back memories.

I think The Unforgettable Fire is one of U2's most underrated songs. (The album isn't, though.) I looked at my top 10 list and already it has changed (you guys reminded me of Heartland, Red Hill Mining, etc.) I'm not in a U2 phase right now but they will remain one of my favorite bands of all time.

LOL... Yea, I guess it is pretty much impossible...

I cannot believe I am the only one who thought "In God's Country" off Joshua Tree was in the top 10... I love that song.

It was even better performed acoustically on the elevation tour.

1.) I listen to everything, NOT just "that 2004 hip hop shit". Besides, I'm an old school head anyway.

2.) Nice generalization of rap music. Did the media spoon feed you that? Don't make me send Superfly over to your house to give you a 10 hour lecture on why the 1970's were so great.
