Close. It's rather Russia, Canada, China, US and Brazil.

Languages; probably Mandarin (Chinese), English, Spanish, Hindi and Arabic (or Bengali or Russian). But don't quote me on that...

While Spanish is spoken in a lot of countries, I think the percentage of the population is rather small, right?

As for USA/China deal in area listing it is so:
If counting Taiwan as part of China, China is bigger than USA. If not, USA is bigger.

Some of the above statistics should be clarified as primary languages.

For example-- the USA, UK, and Australia alone have over 330m English speakers; and that's not even counting the country with the world's largest number of English speakers (India... who knew?  Laugh out loud)

That said, English is the most spoken of all Earth's languages.... with Mandarin being the most spoken primary language.

Hey Sonic, Spanish is spoken by more than 266.000.000! Take a look at this:

United States........At least 30M
Spain...................At least 40M
Mexico.................At least 80M
Colombia...............At least 40M
Argentina..............At least 30M
Peru.....................At least 25M
Venezuela.............At least 20M
--------------------------------
Subtotal At least 265M

It does not count Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Phillipines, Equatorial Guinea, Central American and Caribbean countries and the big communities in countries like Canada, France, UK, Germany, Etc. I think that spanish is spoken by 400M.
