While @ work, my co-workers and I ordered 'lunch' from a great new Italian restaurant Uptown called 'Il Piatto'.

WOW! It was my first time eating anything from them, and wowww, if this is any indication of the rest of the choices, I will be eating there again soon!

I ate gorgonzola walnut ravioli (which I believe also were stuffed with currants), with a roasted tomato basil pesto... I was practically crying, it was so amazing. It felt strange to be standing in my work apron, with a cheap paper container of gorgeous food  Smile

Hmm the world of cooking is amazing.

Not particularly thrilling I know, but I thought I'd share this with you.. LOL

In related news, I had a splendid bowel movement about a half hour ago. It was most wonderous and I thought I'd share it with you as well.

Bearcub, I'll respond seriously to your post. There are a few meals I have had that I will always remember, they were so good.

One of them was pasta in a creamy seafood sauce in a restaurant in 20 Bay Street in Toronto. I worked in that building. I had had the stomach flu and hadn't been able to eat in about three days. That was the first thing I managed to eat and man, it was SO good. This was ten years ago and I still remember it!

Another was fried chicken and mashed potatoes with bourbon gravy at South City Kitchen in Atlanta. I go there and have the same thing every time I go to Atlanta.

Sounds like your meal may be one of your memorable ones?

But that was when I ruled the world

As my last meal was a poor excuse for meatloaf at noon............I now hate you, Nworlnsbearcub.

From the other 30% who didn't.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
