To be honest, I don't like her face, her attitude or any of her shows.
That will only lead me to a biased statement concerning Martha.
Although I honestly believe that justice has been done, at least when she has to do hard time in the slammer.

Oh no!

I like Martha Steward. She has an intriguing voice and her TV programmes were interesting (I watched some in Las Vegas).

Oh for shame on her! She was quite good.

"a devastating verdict that probably means prison for the woman who epitomizes meticulous homemaking and gracious living>

Greg, I know criminal law isn't your specialty, but do you know what the minimums are for these convictions? If memory serves, I thought they all carried some sort of mandatory jail time, but I could be wrong.

Don't worry folks - she'll still help make the world a better place from her patterned cell !!  Big thumbs up

They were saying on CNN this AM, if she's found guilty on ANY one of those charges, she could face at least three years. Suffices to say, we'll be watching a "Spruce up your bunk and cell" episode on Living along with some helpful hints on ajusting to Prison Life, not to mention Chili party recipes.  Laugh out loud lol!

She doesn't figure into my life..but I don't think her crimes are such that jail time is necessary--particularly if you compare the magnitude with WorldComm and Enron.

Probation and a very large fine---"It's a good thing..."

EA CO AS.....you may be right. I actually thought she 'might' be aquitted on all counts after the first charge was dropped.
