I guess it would be John Madden. Can't stand his voice (and when he was doing those dumb reverse-tape replays five times a down, I'd switch channels). Anyway, the guy is afraid of flying which automatically makes me suspect to begin with. Regards...Jack

Dick Vitell. That guy has to be the most annoying person in sports.
Oh, come on...Dickie V is not that bad. Would TV basketball really be the same without Dick Vitale?

As far as tv is concerned, I would fire Al Micheals. Now as far as radio, I would fire that guy in Oakland who always says "Touchdown Raaaaaaaaaaaaiders."

It'd be John Madden. They guy used to be halfway decent, but he's just hot air anymore. A close second would be Dicky V, who is so annoying as not to even be funny anymore.

Oh, another one: Joe Morgan. He's so full of himself. I remember during the height of Roberto Alomar's career, anytime anyone compared Robbie to him, he'd literarlly scoff at such claims, even though Robbie was better than Joe on defense, and was at least his equal, if not better than him on offense.

Skip Carey. He's just plain annoying after all these years. He got even more annoying after he lost all that weight. The only member of the Carey family that was good was Harry Carey. His son and grandson are just riding on daddy's coattails.

Definately John Madden. I have no desire to listen to him repeat the same things over and over and over and over and over again. I swear, he's got a pre-recorded set of lines that he uses in real TV, just like on his video game. It's even worse when they show the booth camera and you see the 32 chins bobbling up and down as he talks.

I'm no fan of Joe Castiglione on WEEI in Boston. I just can't stand his voice and the way he announces games. It gets so bad that sometimes I'll just tune in to WFAN and listen to a Mets game (of course, I only listen to the Mets or Red Sox when the Yankees aren't on WCBS).

Boomer Esiason, my nomination for the most annoying sports commentator. Half the time I wish all of them would just shut up. Has been more than one time I have hit the 'mute button' to enjoy the game.

I can't stand Dick Vitale! His voice is so freaking annoying! But come on Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN with John Miller and Joe Morgan is awesome. Those guys are really knowledgable about the game. I guess they can be boring at times, but it's not like baseball is the most exciting game in the world. John Miller can really get into it though. I remember sometime last season I think in August someone who I can't recall at the moment made an unassisted triple play, and John Miller was pumped!

John Madden, if you listen to him he makes absoultly no sense, it seems as if he is not even watching the same game.....Also I'd can Harry Kalas of the Phillies, he just annoys me with his lack of knowledge on the sport of baseball

Joe Buck <---The absolute most annoying of them all. King of the coat tail riders. All he is good for is pointing out the "mood" of the game's fans or blathering about the parents of a player watching in the stands. Blah, blah. What a pest.
