OK - I don't understand.

I have posted 80 or 90 posts. None of them have been flamers, or attacking anyone.

I have edited, sharpened and color-corrected the photos of 9 other users who then re-submitted them and got the photos accepted.

Yet, I have a respect rating of "1".

What does it take?

Quite frankly, respect rating is worth less than nothing. Don't pay it any mind.

It takes time to build up the number of people in total who respect you and also the number of people with high repect ratings who have you on their respected user lists.

I humbly suggest that you continue to post and if your posts are of high quality then people will stat to add you to their respected user list and your rating will climb.

In seeing that you have only been posting for three months with a small number of posts it may take time for user to get to know you and make-up their minds about adding you to their respected user lists.

Again post quality posts with facts to back your opinions, have a sense of humorabout yourself and people will notice. Soon if you post high quality material your rating will grow quickly.

Yours,
IHadAPheo (and yes if you read my profile I am old)

Qlguy24,

No, I'm not "only" here to be respected.

But I do wonder why others are making some connection that I have not! I haven't even made anyone mad at me!

I won't let it effect my day, however.  Wink/being sarcastic

IHadAPheo,

If your profile is accurate, you are younger than me by about 5 years!

Yep I'm a proud 41 year old father of a three year old (again you would never guess it from looking at my profile)...

I will use my own history here as an example it took a few months of posting to get my "RR" out of the single digits and in time in started to grow. I do not give it much thought though.

Cptkrell,

My self-esteem is fully restored by the mere offer of reducing your RR to zero.

Personally, I still fail to see the need for a respect rating. Can we not just go back to the happy days when respect was implicit?
