My friends and I just signed our lease for our house next year. All the appliances are included, but we are trying to make a list of things we need to bring. Having not done this before we don't want to miss anything. Any suggestions for things we may not think of or other stuff you can think of would be great. Lets see if we can put a list together.

I guess I'll start.
1) Large markerboard or something of that sort for a "to-do" list

The one neccessity for a college student living off grounds is a blender.
Other than that, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, microwave, toaster/toaster oven....
Plus you will need furniture for your common areas.... dinner table with chairs and a couch are good to start. And you'd likely want to have a TV as well.
Stop drop and roll will not save you in hell. --- seen on a church marque in rural Virginia

A grill and a cookbook, trust me you'll get real tired of ramen and beer every meal. You'll probably need some cleaning supplies, which I personally don't use more than once a year but are invaluble when you need them, like a mop and some 409 and stuff. Definately some silver/plasticware and plates, and lots of them. A keg tap can sometimes be very useful if you're anything like me. Lots of posters and seats and little nightstands or tables or whatever keep the place from looking too empty. And never be without a silk something or other, drives ladies crazy.
