First round I went 28 of 32...led my pool at that point. But now I'm getting absolutely hammered in the second round by these crazy upsets: stanford losing to alabama, nevada beating gonzaga (!?), xavier whoopin on miss st, etc. Also, I had UNC goin to the final four, so the close loss to texas really hurts me. At this point, 3 of my final four teams are still alive, and only 5 of my elite eight teams are still around. By the pt system of 1 pt per every first round winner, 2 for every second round winner, 4 for sweet 16 winners, 8 for elite 8 winners, 16 for final four winners, and 32 for the championship winner, I'm at 36 pts atm. I have UConn winning it all... So, hows this compare to your bracket?

I have a feeling the second round hurt a lot of people so your first round may walk. I can't imagine many people picked Alabama and Nevada to go to the sweet-16. I was 25 for 32 first round but fortunately, none of the losers were going any further so I didn't lose any second rounders before they started. But after they started, Gonzaga, Texas Tech, and Stanford killed me. I didn't pick Gz and TT to go any further, but I had Stanford going to the final game and its a $2,000 pay-off for the winner D'OH!

After the first round, I was in extremely good shape...winning 30 out of 32. Well, Murphy's Law had to be used in the second round to balance out my outstanding first round. Thus, my bracket is done now, with too many upsets going on in this round, with Kentucky (who I had picked to win it all) being knocked out. Not fun.

My St. Louis and Phoenix area brackets are shot completely to hell, all of my picks lost there. Only way I can win any money this year is if Pitt and Xavier both make it to the Final Four; stupid me for picking a Stanford/Gonzaga final. Still doing better than some of the people in my pool: 4 people have had all of their Final Four picks beaten. Good luck to all a y'all!
