The song is by a band from Finland called The Rasmums the song's called In The Shadows... I know that it's gone number 1 on the European continent and is highly likely to go to number 1 in the UK next week..

I really like the song, do you guys like it?

Regards,

Milo

Now that song's been round for quite some time.

Walk together, talk together all ye peoples of the earth. Then, and only then, shall ye have peace.

I guess the US is about 6 years behind then (in music terms).  Sad

It's a band from Finland..

No offense.. but most music from Europe is absolute ****.. No offense but have you ever heard a good pop/rock/r&b song sang in the French or German language?

Exactly  Big grin

Most European music is either from UK or USA.. and continental Europe is mostly around 3-5 weeks behind the UK.. Big grin

Milo

You're entitled to your opinion (maybe calling it **** is a little harsh) but it could possibly be because you don't speak the language?! If you do happen to speak fluent french and german then accept my apologies!

There is actually quite a lot of decent music from around Europe. I quite like some funky french house music!

The music in UK is actually pretty good. It's not so different from the US and the rest of Europe.
And there are some really good bands from UK as well. Specially Travis. They are really great!!

Look at DJs:

France - Air, Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, Dmitri from Paris, Kid Loco, Bob Sinclar, Cassius, Laurent Garnier etc...

Germany: Tiesto, Kraftwerk, Paul Van Dyk

Holland: Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, ID&T label,

Belgium: Armand Van Helden

Italy: Marco V, Claudio Coccolutto, Mario Piu, Junior Jack (AKA Room5),

Sweden: Stonebridge, Stockholm sound machine, Axwell

Finland: Bomfunk MCs, Darude

but then compare that to:

Fergie, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, Seb Fontaine, John Digweed, James Lavelle, Nick Warren, BK, JFK, Lisa Lashes, Lisa Pin Up, Anne Savage, Rob Tissera, Lee Burrige, Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli, Eddie Halliwell, The Dreem Teem, Fabio, Grooverider, Chemical Brothers, Simon Patterson, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Luke Neville, Mark Doyle, Norman Jay, Fat boy Slim, Tara Reynolds, Paul Glazby, Hixxy, Dougal, Slipmatt, Tall Paul, Danny Rampling etc...

Ok, I look like the biggest dumba$$ right now. I had had about 5 beers already when I typed my previous post.

I havent read thread since last night, so I didnt notice my typo.

It was supposed to be "about 1 year".

They were playing it all the time during the summer in sweden last year.
