I bought a new pair of Doc Martens the other day on Zappo's at they arrived via UPS today. Imagine my shock and horror when I read "Made In China" on them. I don't mind spending good money on a good pair of shoes... but I buy Docs because not only do I get a good looking shoe, but I get a good piece of British craftsmanship. Needless to say I much disappointed and said shoes will be returned.

Very surprising...I own 4 pairs and each is made in England. I love Docs, not all styles, but there are a few that are classic. It's been over a year since a bought the last pair but I wasn't aware of any change. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but, like you, I'd be shocked if that arrived.
