.. if you haven't seen these yet - do it, because it's really cracked me up.

Download the two videos and see what happens when you force a 12-13 year old kid listen to Dubya speak for an hour... And what then happens as the White House & Friends (CNN) tries to spin their way out of it.

The kid is also visible in the C-Span coverage of the event:

It just took a different angle and a long lens...  Wink/being sarcastic

Yeah, even as a Bush supporter, that was pretty damn funny. Supposedly the kid was the son of some congressman.

And it could probably have happened in basically every party rally in any country at any time...  Wink/being sarcastic

Force me to listen to anyone for an hour and I'll yawn and look at my watch at least once.

The White House didn't try to spin anything, it was CNN that dropped the ball while re-airing a spot done by Letterman.

Why Kate, You're not wearing a bustle. How lewd.

The truth is the kid was so excited that he was going to see Bush (er...) that he couldn't sleep all night. The next day someone didn't show and cos someone in the organisation knew how excited this kid had been, they offered him the spot on the stage, not knowing he was so tired. It's an excellent bit of footage.
